About Us
Losing what you love is one of the hardest things a human can go through.
When I suffered the loss of my best friend Louis, my faithful Tibetan Terrier, I needed help.
I knew intellectually that I might find the light again, there were plenty of books about it. But I didn’t have the energy to read 300 pages of a grief book!
In my body and energy systems, everything felt dark, lonely, lost, and hopeless. The promise of light felt so incredibly dim, and so incredibly far away.
Once I got through the darkness and found that light again, I developed What Would Lou Do? to offer people what I had needed.
We can continue to love whom we’ve lost, honor them, and continue learning from them and their wisdom.
Knowing how to open your heart to this is the key to moving forward in your life while growing that love within you.

Every day Ralphie says with the glint in his eyes, with his yelps as I’m putting on my boots and sliding on my coat readying for a walk, with the way he comes over and rests his head on my knee when I’m writing, today is a gift from god, let’s not waste a single breath.
That's my boy Gunner, always ready to play and now always in my heart.
